Training & Development

Emprise recognises that our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about supporting our people to deliver excellent service to our customers. Training & development plays an important role in equipping our staff to do their job effectively and safely. Recognised as a Pathway Passport verifier and an Investor in People since 2004, Emprise is committed to the personal and professional development of our people who underpin our service excellence on a daily basis.

Emprise invests heavily in its training programme and provides training and development across the business in accordance with employees' agreed needs. All staff receive basic job training, health and safety training and site specific training. Furthermore, where it is required, staff receive the following training:

  • Operative training
  • Supervision training
  • Management training
  • Communication and conflict management
  • NVQ Level 2

All Security Officers will be SIA cleared with the required License as part of their induction and undergo training which conforms to the Security Industry Skills for Training standards. Emprise has approved training centre status with City and Guilds and NOCN scheme approval.
