Emprise has achieved accreditation to ISO 14001 environmental management and implemented an environmental management system based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2004. The accreditation confirms our commitment to corporate responsibility by minimising the harmful effects our activities have on the environment. Emprise has established environmental objectives and targets which are measurable and consistent to ensure continuous improvement of the company’s environmental performance.

• Recycling and reducing waste materials where possible
• Aim to use environmentally friendly chemicals where possible
• Ensure all employees are aware of our environmental impact on company and client premises
• Encourage our clients and subcontractors to promote good environmental practice in the use and disposal of materials used
• Ensure compliance with client requirements
• Investigate and trial cleaning systems which reduce the quantity of chemical used
• Reduce carbon emissions on company fleet

Through membership of many trade and professional bodies, Emprise constantly seek alternatives to existing systems that will enhance our compliance with our environmental policy to achieve best value from our resources whilst removing or reducing harm to the environment from our operations to help achieve our commitment to continual improvement.
